Tom Skelly's work is inspired by movies. Skelly uses mixed media to combine abstract elements with moments of human interaction. The results are a creative take on the film still, a single frame cut from reel and interpreted through an artist's sense.
"The human drama depicted is heightened by the physical materials. The atmospheric backgrounds serve the purpose of a movie score while the figures freeze a moment in time." -TS
